Ford has earmarked China as a key market for the Fiesta saloon – given China’s penchant for three-box bodystyles.  In fact, Ford is so serious about making the Fiesta a success in China that it will be built at a brand new factory in Nanjing. You couldn't swing a camshaft without hitting a Corvette at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Chevy was celebrating, in no particular order: the 60th anniversary of its iconic sports car; the rolling unveiling of the new C7 Stingray; the first-ever public peek at the C7R race car; an almost-unprecedented gathering of great Corvette race cars from all eras; and a ginormous gathering of the Corvette faithful tearing around the track in all models of screaming, roaring American muscleVettes, few with silenced exhausts and many emblazoned with all or part of the American flag. Is this a great country or what?

Jaguar F-Type Coupe to bow at LA Auto Show

One of the most fevered rumors in automobildom will be all but confirmed at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, when the Jaguar F-Type Coupe makes its debut. Remember that the Jaguar C-X16 concept first showed itself in LA back in 2011, and we rather liked that car. The F-Type Coupe, in all of its production-ready glory, will look achingly similar to that concept.
